Absolutely delicious! A true desert gem and the new owners are just a delight to chat with. My husband and I ate dinner and breakfast during our one night stay at the hot springs motel/resort. I had the mediterranean plate which was perfect since I was craving fresh veggies/flavors after several days of greasy dinners. My husband got the chicken and I couldn't get enough sample bites. The breakfast was solid with their omelette choices and the French toast was super decadent. We will definitely be back! Yelp Quote Here

This place is a culinary oasis. After a long day of hiking and soaking in the hot springs, I stopped off at Pastels before my journey home. I ordered an iced tea with the Mediterranean plate w/ chicken. The iced tea was served in a funky yet elegant glass jar, and there was something about the tea itself that was so refreshing! I must have had 4 or 5 glasses! The food itself was extremely delicious, tasted uber-fresh, and healthy too! The best of all worlds. I also ordered desert, a cake with coffee, which was delightful. The place is eclectic and homey. The people who work there are incredibly nice and friendly! I really enjoyed my meal there, and will definitely be back next time I am in Tecopa Springs! Now serving breakfast and I'm glad they did! Their breakfast was delicious! I would totally recommend the Kayla's inspiration and the omelettes. We had dinner there as well which consisted of pizza and wings... OMG!!! nothing better then homemade pizza and wings! I urge everyone to stop by and grab something to eat here if you're in town. Sometimes its a little bit of a wait, but it is definitely well worth the wait 100%!! Great job to the friendly staff and great cooks here! Can't wait to come back and enjoy some more food. Yelp:

Firstly, their food quality is definitely on point, especially given the area that we were in. We ordered and artichoke pesto pizza it was so delicious. Second- GELATO after a day in the desert, of course, I couldn't resist. Third- It's family owned and operated (most of the town is). My little "waiter" was a young blue eyed boy with the most impressive manors I've seen in a young man in a long time. The boys Grandma was really my waitress and she was the definition of great customer service. Fourth- I ATE A SCORPION-per my waitresses and it actually wasn't bad at all. Five out of five stars for this cute little off-guide-treasure.
